Isla Mujeres - Day 3

Day 3 was only cloudy - no rain, so we decided we needed to get down to the beach. We had eggs and bacon from our supermarket trip for breakfast. Then we got in our swim gear.

Noah wasn't too sure what to think of all that sand!

He really got into it after a while.

Sadly, Noah wasn't too fond of the ocean. I wouldn't say he cried, but he just got really calm and not himself. We realized later in the week that if we would bring a bucket a sand with us, he was better. He liked playing in the sand and he definitely enjoyed the pool. Although after a few warmer days, the pool was like bath water.

Here's a view from our room:

For lunch, we just snacked on our pork tacos some more. Then for dinner we got cleaned up and decided Noah needed a faux hawk:

We went to a place called Brisas Grill. It was in an area known as Seafood Row. We sat on the beach with our toes in the sand. I had the most amazing lobster pasta. David and my dad's were both just ok. For being one of the more expensive meals, I expected more for them.

The sun was setting while we ate, so we got some pretty amazing pictures.
