Noah won't be 4 months old until Thursday, but I may not post again before then. Everything has been going well with us. David's birthday was Sunday. He is the big 2-8 now. We did some bbq'ing for the holiday weekend. Noah has been developing so much. He now sleeps without a swaddle, just the sleep sack and he does great. He also loves playing in his exersaucer and bumbo chair. He can really hold onto his toys and move them from hand to the other hand. He loves to laugh and be naked. Breastfeeding is still going great and I have pretty much completely stopped using the nursing cover. It's actually harder to use than to just say forget it. Sorry if I make you feel uncomfortable, but it's something that everyone should get used to it. Sorry, I digress....
The most important part of this post was going to be about the new daycare. This was Noah's first week. Overall, I love it. I think they are taking really good care of him and he is already learning so much. We have had a few issues. This one particular lady was putting his diaper in wrong but I think we've straightened her out. There was also an issue where the daycare only changed his diaper once all day. And honestly, it wasn't that they only changed his diaper once that bothered me, it was the fact that his daily sheet said it was changed three times. So obviously some miscommunication issues occurred. But we've talked to all the care providers and the directors and I honestly think they are very serious about this and it will never happen again. I think with any daycare, there are going to be some growing pains and adjustment issues.
Nothing else too exciting is going on with us. Next weekend I'm having more toe surgery done (not exciting AT ALL). Otherwise, just relaxing and recovering.
