3 Month - Sick Noah

Technically, Noah won't be 3 months until Monday, but close enough. I again apologize for not updating much lately, but I've had a lot of things going on. I went back to work on Wednesday and started taking Noah to daycare. At first, I was ok, then I was upset by some things that the daycare was doing. Nothing serious, but enough to make me wonder how he was being taken care of. We talked to the daycare and the specific teachers taking care of him and I think things have gotten better. I think it's just something I will need to get used to. Noah hasn't been taking very good naps there, but hopefully he will used to it and start a better routine. Work has been ok, there are lots to do so that's good. I wouldn't want to be bored. I absolutely dread pumping. I'm not going to stop because the breastfeeding has finally gotten to a comfortable place for both of us. BUT it doesn't mean I have to like pumping. It takes up so much time making my lunch time practically nonexistent. It's also boring, so I use the time to rest, catch up on personal email, etc. The other "weird" part is the mom's room is attached to the women's restroom and I realized that I don't really care to hear ladies coming in and out using the bathroom. So headphones are a necessity.

In other news, Noah came home Thursday with a little redness in his eye. We called the doctor and they said it was fine as long as his eyes weren't watering and he didn't have a fever. He probably just poked himself in the eye. So ok, no big deal. Friday the redness seemed less, so I was happy he was getting better. Then Friday night, I put him to bed and he just kept crying and not going to sleep. So I took his temperature and it was 100. Luckily, David was on his way home from work and he picked up some Tylenol. After we gave him that, he was able to sleep about an hour or so and then he woke up and we fed him. He slept from about 3-6 after that. When he did wake up, he still had a temperature (his temp did go down when he woke up around 2:30am). So we called the doctor and went in to see him. Basically, they think it's a viral infection with a bit of pink eye. We have instructions to give him eye drops and use saline spray and the bulb to clear out his nose (it's all congested). When we got home, we gave him the drops, cleared out his nose, fed him, changed him and gave him another dose of Tylenol and amazing...he slept for 2 hours. He just now woke up and he seems a lot better and his temperature is still down. I hope he gets better soon. I feel really bad and I feel somewhat helpless.

Here's some pictures of healthy (and sleepy) Noah:
