Monday morning (Jan 12), I woke up with the stomach flu. David took me to the doctor on Monday afternoon and they gave me a shot of something to reduce the nausea so I wouldn't get dehydrated. Tuesday, I went back to work, but even today, I'm still not feeling 100%, which is not good going into busy season. Also, I haven't been taking my metformin in fears that they will make my stomach worse.
On Saturday night (Jan 10), David and I volunteered at the crisis nursery. I actually spent quite a bit of time with the older kids (giving baths) which is unusual for me. I remembered after that experience why I try and stick with younger kids. I felt like I had to literally take their clothes off and physically place them in the bath and after you spend all that time trying to convince them to get into the tub, they won't get out! I had to physically take them out of the tub and dry them off. Then the hunt for bedtime clothes (which I won't have this trouble when I have my own). There was a "sweet" moment when David was feeding a 6 month old and I was rocking a 4 month old to sleep. I told David that this is what it would be like if we had twins and he smiled.
Here's my "schedule" for the next cycle. I'll try and update as things change.
Jan 17 - Start Prometrium
Feb 1 - Start Cycle #4
Feb 14 - Hopeful ovulation
Feb 21 - Bloodwork to confirm
Feb 28 - Pregnancy test!!!
