Noah's 9 month Appt

Noah had his 9 month doctor's appointment today. Here are his stats:

Weight: 17lb, 14 oz (8.63%)
Height: 27.5" (19.66%)
Head Circumference: 45.7cm (58.23%)

I can't believe his weight is so low, but the doctor doesn't seem concerned. He showed up Noah's chart on the WHO chart. Basically, he's still on the chart, but he's leveled off a lot. The doctor will be concerned if he doesn't grow at all before his 12-month appointment. So hopefully Noah will grow, grow, grow before then.

What Noah lacks in physical growing, he is making up for in his milestones. He crawls like a champ now. No commando crawling, all on his hands and knees. He's getting pretty quick at it, too. He can pull up on everything now, including mom and dad, like when he wants to be picked up. Then he will cruise along the furniture. My favorite new thing that Noah does now is he will pull himself up on his music table and hit the keys to play a song and then dance. Like literally, dance by bouncing his legs up and down and smile from ear to ear. It's so cute and makes my heart melt every time.

In other news...I quit my job. My last day at BKD was last Thursday. I start at a new firm called Abeles and Hoffmann next Monday. In the meantime, I get a whole week with my Noah. Unfortunately, I have a bunch of stuff to do this week. My reasons for leaving BKD and joining Abeles and Hoffmann are to gain more flexibility and a better work culture in order for me to be the best CPA and the best mom that I can be creating a balance between the two. I'll let you know how my new job goes.
